Jerry Goldsmith Rip Off Exercise

    Hi, I'm new to this group, and watching Mike's YouTube videos has really inspired me to practice composition more. I wanted to share this here to get some criticism. I wrote this as an exercise following the process of Transcribe -> Score Study -> Write my own piece (focusing on test driving the orchestration/harmonic language). I transcribed Jerry Goldsmith's music for "Soarin' Over California", then wrote this.

    I would love to hear any feedback that any of you have to offer, and am also ready to take the dive into Mike's Master Classes, and am interested in figuring out where I should start.
