Playing into your reference track, does it makes sense ?

    Mike didn't talk about it in the video, so not sure if it is good or bad, but we can actually import our reference orchestral track into the DAW and play/improvise on top of it during playback, checking if our own virtual instruments would blend into it and how much they differ. Is this something people have experience with ?
    It reminds me of the school CGI task of hiding a digital 3D object on a photo of real world objects.
